Revel F226Be is a three-way passive floorstanding speaker from the PerformaBe range. It uses a beryllium tweeter, separate midrange driver and 2 × 6" bass section. It suits stereo or theatre front channels with amplification and placement chosen for the room.

Building the system

These are passive speakers, requiring a stereo amplifier or AV receiver suited to their electrical load. A phone, TV or turntable does not connect directly to the speaker terminals. Connect the source to the amplifier, then run speaker cables from it to the speakers.

Give the speakers space

Start with symmetrical placement relative to the sofa and gradually adjust wall distances. Use a familiar recording with vocals and bass: the voice should focus between the speakers without bass masking other instruments. Use the supplied supports and suitable floor protection for stability.
