Klipsch RP-500C II is a passive speaker design. A Reference Premiere centre channel with two 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers and a titanium tweeter. Its role is to anchor dialogue to the screen in a multichannel cinema, including for viewers sitting off centre.

What you need to connect it

You need a separate amplifier or AV receiver and speaker cable. A phone output, TV HDMI port or Bluetooth connection cannot connect directly to these terminals. Match the amplifier to the speaker load and required listening level rather than choosing by the largest wattage figure alone.

Keep dialogue anchored to the screen

Position the centre channel below or above the screen and aim it towards listeners. Keep cabinet doors clear of its front panel. Set the centre-channel level in the receiver after connecting it; excessive centre volume cannot compensate for poor placement.
