The SCL-2 is an in-wall loudspeaker designed primarily for use as LCR or surround in larger systems. It features JBL’s proprietary dual 1.5-inch (38 mm) D2415K compression drivers mated to a large-format High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) horn. The triple 8-inch (200 mm) woofers with advanced aluminum matrices operate in a 2.5-way network configuration, allowing them to be mounted vertically or horizontally without the cave-ins and other acoustic problems associated with traditional designs. The built-in MDF cabinet is designed to fit into standard 2x6 wood frames, and internal connections allow bi-wiring or bi-amping for advanced installations. The SCL-2 delivers unrivaled performance in a wide range of applications and is ideal for use in medium, large, and extra-large venues.
