JBL Studio bundle 3 centres on Studio 698 floorstanders for home films and music. The 5.1.2 layout includes separate dialogue and surround speakers plus a powered subwoofer.

Front channels, dialogue and bass

A pair of JBL Studio 698 floorstanders forms the front soundstage. The Studio 665C centre sits by the screen, and one powered Studio 660P handles bass. Front and centre speakers use speaker cables; the subwoofer connects to Subwoofer/LFE.

Surround and height channels

The bundle includes a Studio 630 surround pair. A Studio 2 8IC ceiling pair supplies two height positions. Plan mounting space and cabling before finishing the ceiling.

Electronics and channel layout

Electronics: ARCAM AVR5 + PA240. The speakers form 5.1.2: 5 main channels, one subwoofer and two height channels. PA240 can power the front pair, leaving AVR5 channels for the remaining speakers. An AVR5 Dirac Live licence is purchased separately.
