JBL Stage 2 bundle 1 5.1.2 pairs speakers from one range with an MA710 receiver. It provides a separate front soundstage, dialogue and effects around the viewing seats. Two Stage 240H modules add Dolby Atmos height.

Speaker contents

Front: a Stage 260F pair; centre: Stage 245C; surround: a Stage 240B pair; bass: one powered Stage 200P. A Stage 240H pair is also included. Each passive speaker needs cable to the receiver; the subwoofer needs a signal connection and mains power.

Installing Stage 240H

Stage 240H units are enclosed modules, not ceiling cut-in speakers. Place them on compatible fronts for ceiling-reflected sound or mount them on the wall with appropriate settings. Match the module mode and MA710 channel assignment to the actual installation.

Setup after placement

Run receiver calibration with the microphone in the seating area, then check dialogue, surround level and bass with a familiar film. Choose subwoofer crossover settings for the speakers and room. Loud bass in a corner does not mean even bass at the sofa.
